Design Choices

When working with clients, I get alot of these questions:

“Is this too trendy?”

“Do you think I’ll hate this in a few years?”

“Is this look still going to be in style?”

And my answer is always: “Do you love it? Because if you do, it will stand the test of time.”

When selecting those finishing pieces for a space, don’t pick out something because everyone has it. Select it because it feels right for the flow of your space; and it’s true to your personal style. I designed our kitchen over three years ago, and it still makes me smile when I walk in every morning. These bar stools are definitely “trendy” right now, but three years ago they weren’t. And when the trend moves on to something else, I’ll still love them because they feel like me.
